Indonesia is the third biggest motorcycle market worldwide, with a size 6 time bigger than the automotive industry, which represent one of the primary transportation modes in the country. Indonesian motorcycle market was reported to grow above expectation at the beginning of 2019, which was supported by good economic growth, strong labour market and robust private consumption. A total of 3.25 million unit of motorcycles has been sold at the first half of 2019, which grew by 7,4% from the same period of time last year.
To reinforce the motorcycle sector in the country, Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) will be back in 2020 to greet the Indonesian market. Previously, Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) was named Jakarta Motorcycle Show (JMCS) and reformed its name since 2014 to enlarge its scale.
Hosted by the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) and organized by Seven Event, IMOS will be held on 11 – 15 November 2020 in Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). This biennial exhibition will feature two-wheeler products from various motorcycle brands, accessories, apparel, and supported by other related industries. The 6-days exhibition will occupy 10.500 sqm divided into 3 halls, an outdoor area and also targets 100.000 visitors during its show days. In addition, IMOS will be buttressed by supportive programs such as community gathering, helmet promo, safety riding class, test ride and other exciting programs for Indonesian riders enthusiast. The Community Gathering aims as a networking stage between industry players and motorcycle communities from all over Indonesia.
The previous Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) 2018 has gained positive feedback, participated by 61 motorcycle brands from 43 companies and attracted over 95.000 visitors.
